Leatherback Gear offers FREE shipping on all orders over $300 within the U.S. For orders under $300 we offer standard ground shipping thru UPS using calculated rates directly from the carrier.

SHIPPING CUTOFF TIMES

GROUND SHIPPING:We have seen an increase in orders and are working as quickly as possible to produce more armor and get orders shipped out. EXPRESS ORDERS: Express orders require 3-4 business days for processing.

 

SHIPPING TO P.O. BOXES OR APO/FPO/DPO ADDRESSES

Orders placed that ship to a P.O. Box or APO/FRO/DPO address will be sent via USPS. Rate will be calculated during checkout.

SHIPMENT CONFIRMATION AND ORDER TRACKING

When your order ships you will receive a shipping confirmation email which will contain tracking information for the package.

 

CUSTOMS, DUTIES, AND TAXES

Leatherback Gear is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

 

CARRIER CLAIMS

Leatherback Gear is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping and delivery. If you experience any of these situations, please contact the shipment carrier directly to file a claim.

 

OPTIONAL SHIPPING PROTECTION

Leatherback Gear offers an optional shipping protection plan for every order placed at www.leatherbackgear.com shipping via UPS Ground at an additional cost. This plan covers lost, stolen, and damaged items that meet the below listed criteria. Available to US residents only. For international customers please contact us directly to discuss insuring your order.

How to Purchase the Optional Shipping Protection - During the checkout process select the "FREE UPS Ground Shipping (3-4 Days) + Optional Shipping Protection" shipping method option.

What the plan covers:

Lost Package Policy - Claims for packages presumed to be lost may not be filed until 7 business days have passed since package was originally scheduled for delivery and must be filed within 30 days from the last checkpoint.  Status must not be marked as "delivered" in order to qualify under the Lost Package Policy.

Stolen Package Policy - Claims for packages that have been suspected stolen require a police report when the order total is over $100. Orders under $100 do not require a police report in order to file a claim. Stolen Package Claims may not be filed until 7 business days have passed since package was originally scheduled for delivery and must be filed within 14 days from the last checkpoint. Claims for packages marked "delivered" yet not received and where there is no evidence of theft must be made within 24 hours after package is marked “delivered” by the carrier.

Damaged Product Policy - Claims for products that are received and have been damaged during transit must be filed within 3 business days after the package is marked "delivered" by the carrier. A damaged product is considered one that is unusable. Photo evidence is required for proof of damage. Damaged products are to be disposed of and not returned to Leatherback Gear once a claim is approved. This policy does not cover cosmetic damage or manufacturing damages. How to File a Claim - To file a claim within the mentioned timeframes outlined in each policy above please email hello@leatherbackgear.com. In your email please include your order number and a detailed description of the issue that warrants a claim to be opened.
