Nice product. Love how it can becomes a vest. Great idea.
Bought for my son to take to school. Pray he never needs it but I feel owning a bulletproof vest is like owning a fire extinguisher. I would rather have one and never need it than need one and never have it.

Great pack!
I bought this pack for my 5 year old son. Immediately after receiving the pack I inspected it. All was there and good. This thing fits me! Im 6’1’ 230lbs and covers vital organs and part of the stomach. Needles to say, I want to purchase an adult size one or another sport pack. The sport pack is a good size for EDC. Also, I went with the grey one. The least tactical looking one. Everything is looking well, I only pray it performs just as in the videos. I would definitely recommend. You can tell the company cares how you receive your pack. They put the effort. Everything was very well packaged. What I didn’t like was the huge letters on the box “BULLETPROOF BACKPACK”. Operational Security folks. There are many hands this box touches before arriving to its destination. If someone with sticky hands don't get it first. The pack is AWESOME!!!

Peace of mind for a small price
I heard about Leatherback Gear from a friend of mine involved in law enforcement. I am so glad he mentioned them. There are many competitors and similar bags on the market, but Leatherback Gear surpases all other companys with their patented front and back protection design. All other competitors simply offer protection for the back, but the Leatherback offers both front and back ballistic protection. It's the only one of its' kind. I checked. From the start, I had many questions and was probably a pain. The Leatherback team was patient, courteous, and professional and worked hard to ensure that I landed on the right product for my child. I cannot recommend this bag enough. I can now rest a little bit easier knowing that my daughter is protected when she is at school or out and about.

I got three of these for my kids to take to school. Size is perfect. Weight is totally acceptable for what it is. At the end of the day I want to know I am doing everything I can as a parent to increase safety. Make one in rainbow unicorns or princesses and my girls would never take it off. Trucks or airplanes for my son. Even Pink and blue. I'll sew some patches on and let them pick out pins to decorate it, but the "look" of the bag is the selling point to the kid.
